The name Talentum is rooted in the ancient Greek word τάλαντον (tálanton)—a term that originally referred to a measure of great value, such as gold or silver. Over time, it came to represent a person’s natural gifts, skills, or abilities.

Matthew 25:14–30 — The Parable of the Talents

In this parable, a master entrusts his servants with different amounts of talents (Greek: τάλαντα, plural of τάλαντον) — a large unit of money — before going on a journey. When he returns, he evaluates how each servant used what was given. Those who invested and multiplied their talents were praised; the one who hid his was rebuked.

Talentum is not just a name tied to engineering skill, but one with deep cultural and biblical roots in the idea of responsibility, stewardship, and multiplying what you’ve been given.  We treat the client's investment as talentum that we are responsible for multiplying for their business' benefit.
